Living in Aljada

Aljada is one of the largest new communities in Sharjah, developed by Arada next to University City and Sharjah International Airport. It is planned as a complete town, with apartment buildings, townhouses, parks, offices, a central entertainment area and plenty of open space.

Many neighbourhoods are finished and lived in, while new phases are still being built. It appeals to families and young professionals who want a modern home at Sharjah prices, with an easy drive to Dubai.

The central area of Aljada has a large entertainment and leisure zone with restaurants, play areas and event spaces, and new parks and sports facilities are being added as each phase opens. Apartment buildings are modern, with pools and gyms, and the townhouse neighbourhoods are quiet and green.

Property types

Arada keeps launching new phases, so there is fresh supply. We compare ready resales with new launches and check handover dates and payment plans before you buy.

Many tenants are families and young professionals who work in Sharjah or the north of Dubai and want a newer home at a lower rent. Buildings close to the central area and the main roads tend to rent fastest. Check service charges and whether the building is fully handed over before you buy.

For families

Families like the parks, the play areas and the space. Schools are close by in University City and Muwaileh, and the community has its own facilities as it grows. Families also compare it with Al Zahia nearby.
